Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has endorsed GOP congressional candidate Ron DeSantis, the campaign announced Friday.
“Ron DeSantis is exactly the type of guy we need to clean up Washington. He is a conservative reformer who will work to cut spending, reduce the debt and reign in the size and scope of the federal government,” Bondi said in a news release.
DeSantis, an attorney, is running for the 6th Congressional District, which includes St. Johns, Volusia, Putnam, and Flagler Counties.
He is facing Democrat Heather Beaven in November’s general election.

Ron DeSantis, the Iraq war veteran and Navy reservist who is the Republican nominee for Congress in the new 6th Congressional District of Florida, has been endorsed by Attorney General Pam Bondi.
